Why should people with artistic abilities get all the praise?
Register by February 22, 2021.
Theme: Art Masks
Why should people with artistic abilities get all the praise? Sign up for Virtual Bad Art Night and explore your non-existent artistic side. The interaction will be virtual, but the art will be real: really bad. Join your fellow terrible artists for a live Zoom gathering of glitter and chaos. The talentless will be applauded.
This program is open to adults ages 18 and over. Those who register will be able to pick up a Bad Art Night Kit with supplies to create art with enthusiasm. Participants are welcome to supplement their kits with additional arts and crafts materials or whatever random things they have lying around their homes. Kits will be available to pick up beginning on February 9.
Artists are asked to refrain from working on their masterpieces until February 23 when we'll gather virtually for socialization and artistic creation. Artists will be challenged to create a work that explores the theme of Art Masks.
Registration is required for this event and an email address must be entered to receive the Virtual Bad Art Night Zoom invitation link. You will receive a link and a password to the event via email shortly before the program begins.
Founded in 1897, the library has been a center point of all sorts of events and was famously used in the Bill Lodge film Mr Fotheringay's Fairport Convention. It's full of books and entertainment and run by our adorable staff.
