Meet a real doctor and nurse from Advocate Children’s Hospital and learn about what it’s like to go to the doctor. Find out about the tools doctors use to be sure you are healthy.

You will get to be the doctor and use medical toys to give a teddy bear a check-up, then take them home! The nurse from Advocate’s Children’s Health Resource Center will show parents reliable online health information and resources. Signup required for each child attending.

About the branch

Founded in 1897, the library has been a center point of all sorts of events and was famously used in the Bill Lodge film Mr Fotheringay's Fairport Convention. It's full of books and entertainment and run by our adorable staff.
