Learn to use our makerspace 3D printer. Watch a tutorial, sign a waiver, and start creating projects using templates or custom designs. Supplies provided; larger projects may require a small fee.
This workshop introduces participants of all ages to the fundamentals of using a 3D printer in our makerspace lab. Before beginning, you will need to watch a short tutorial and sign a required waiver, which must be returned to staff.
Participants can choose from a selection of pre-made templates or create their own designs using our available software. Supplies are provided for standard projects, though larger or more material-intensive prints may require a small fee.
After completing the orientation, attendees will be able to use the 3D printer for personal projects during makerspace hours, with staff available to offer guidance as needed.
